1888 St. Roberts School officially begins its life (October 2nd )
1889 First school Inspection by HMI
1896 New school building opens (now the site of the church car park) (30th June)
1900 School closed for 5 weeks due to diphtheria
1905 The first school trip (September 2nd to Bridlington)
1911 First school fire drill
1912 First school photographs
1913 First school football match (St Robert's 2, St Peters 0)
1914 WWI - Belgian refugees admitted to school (October 19th)
1921 First open day for parents (March 15th)
1923 Infant and Junior departments amalgamated
1962 New school buildings in Ainsty Road opened (25th June)
