Celebration of the Good Shepherd

Our Head Boy and Head Girl represented St Robert’s on Wednesday with Bishop Marcus at the Celebration of the Good Shepherd at St Anne’s Cathedral, Leeds.  They joined with other school children from the Diocese of Leeds to present the money they raised during Lent. The Good Shepherd Appeal is a fundraising appeal every Lent for schools to take part and raise money for Catholic Care. Catholic Care provide practical support, compassion and hope to those in need. Whether through foodbanks, homelessness support, mental health services or aid for vulnerable families, Catholic Care reflects the Church’s commitment to the preferential option for the poor in Catholic Social Teaching.
